Bro's Wedding 1st October [part 1]

So on 1st October, me bro officially took the plunge with his girlfriend of XX years. (dont ask me how long they dated) So he is single no more. Began the day on Sat with noises downstairs at about 8am. (it was raining, nice weather to sleep) Bro had his bikers (mountain bikers, not your typical beer belly-leather jackets, bandana type of bikers) who will follow his entourage to the girls place.

Those who are nt familiar with the chinese custom, would probably not know this but it has been a tradition for the groom and his band of entourage to drive the the bride's place to pick the bride up to his own place and in the process waking up the entire neighborhood with the honking.

There was PEACE once they left but i had to be awake to open the car door for the bride when she come to our side. IMAGINE my horror that a 24-year old guy (quite young :) ) had to open the car door which is normally done by kids below 10 years of age. So weird for me. if my cousin was around, she probably would have to open it. When they arrived they brought young lil kids....KIDS... so yeah

Then there was lil prayers and tea drinking ceremony. Bro had to serve tea to all the elders while i will serve tea to my bro and sis-in-law. Apparently kids has to jump on the bed of the married couple so they will be "fertile" or something like that, not quite sure. OH WELL.
